Belmont Forum e-Infrastructure Office announces International Vacancy

The Belmont Forum e-Infrastructure Coordination, Communications, and Coordination Office (C3O) seeks a full-time Coordination Officer for a period of up to three (3) years to foster and support International communication, collaboration, and coordination to implement recommendations in the e-Infrastructures & Data Management Community Strategy and Implementation Plan (CSIP).

The Coordination Officer will coordinate and support activities among associated projects and external collaborators carrying out the CSIP recommendations or comparable activities, including documentation and adoption of data principles and best practices, promotion of effective data planning and stewardship, and development of an International training curriculum, with a goal of making these resources and practices available to the Belmont Forum for implementation in activities and funded projects.

The successful candidate is expected to serve as a contractor to the Arizona Geological Survey, which is the principal investigator on the project, funded by the (US) National Science Foundation. The position location is negotiable.
